Shopping in Yorkshire

Yorkshire has so many different shopping centres and outlets to choose from, so we’ve created a list of some of the places you might want to consider visiting if you’re looking to go shopping in Yorkshire. 

Trinity Leeds 

Trinity Leeds is the biggest shopping destination in the city of Leeds. You’ll be able to find a whopping 120 stores, bars, and restaurants. This shopping centre can be found under a massive giant iconic glass roof, with 3 different floors of shops that are open 7 days a week. You are able to shop up until 8 pm most days, you’ll be able to enjoy the bars and restaurants late into the evenings. Not only are there your usual everyday clothing shops, but this shopping centre has now brought 65 new national and international brands into shopping in Yorkshire for the first time. 

York Designer Outlet

If you are on the hunt for some discounted designer pieces then look no further as York Designer Outlet offers 60% off RRP. This designer outlet is home to 115 stores, along with a few restaurants. Although this is great for shopping, it can also be a great place during the school holidays for kids, as they often have little events and appearances. 

Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffield 

This shopping centre in Sheffield is one of the UK’s leading shopping and leisure destinations, where you’ll find a large variety of shops and restaurants. The Meadowhall is the largest shopping centre in Yorkshire, as well as being the 11th largest in the UK. The Meadowhall is home to 290 stores, along with 50 different places to eat and drink. If you’re ever wanting to go shopping in Yorkshire or in the Sheffield region, then this is the place to go. 

White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds 

Suppose you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids then the White Rose is perfect for this, with many family-friendly restaurants and shops. Not to mention that there’s a cinema and an outdoor children’s free play area. Visiting the White Rose shopping centre is easy and hassle-free, with free parking and late opening hours, as some shops stay open till 9 pm and restaurants and the cinema close even later! You’ll be able to find this two-story shopping centre in the Beeston area of Leeds, not far from the M621 motorway. 

Junction 32 Outlet Shopping Village, Castleford 

This outlet has over 90 high street stores, where you can save 60% on some of your favourite shops. This is great for late-night shopping during the week, as it closes at 8 pm on all weekdays, as well as the added bonus of free parking. If your looking for somewhere great to go with the kids this is perfect, as you’ll be able to find the Xscape right next door to the shopping outlet. Xscape has so much to offer for a great family day out activities include laser quest, skiing, 4D golf, and many more fun activities. 

St Stephens Shopping Centre, Hull

This stylish shopping destination located in Hull attracts around 10 million people a year, providing a wide range of everyone’s favourite stores. This shopping centre is home to shops, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, and a fitness club. There is more than enough at this shopping centre to keep you occupied for hours, although you’ll be sure to be able to relax if you’re needing a break from your retail therapy.
